After trhe city recorded the season’s highest temperature on Thursday, the maximum temperature came down on Friday due to partially cloudy sky.

The officials of Indian Meteorological Department said the temperature came down from Thursday’s maximum recording of 39.7 degrees celsius to 37 degrees during the day. The minimum temperature increased from Thursday’s 21.4 to 22.5 degrees, officials added.

Meteorological officials said the increased exposure to the sun will push up the mercury, forecasting the temperature to rise from today’s temperature. “Today the sky was partially cloudy and we expect the clouds to thin out which will increase the exposure to sun and increase the temperature,” said an official.
