The area has seen a lot of development in the last decade. However,I feel that at some parts in the area there needs to be improvement in roads. As far as other infrastructure is concerned there is major improvement in the last few years.

Roads are narrow. Work for concretisation of some roads is going on at a very low pace. Also, lack of space for parking is a serious issue. Some plan should be sorted out for increasing the area for vehicle parking. Garbage is not lifted properly in some areas. Facilities for senior citizens are essential.

The failure of administration to collect garbage on regular basis is a major problem faced by the residents of the area. There are garbage containers, which are not cleared by the PMC every day. Also, the door-to-door garbage collection is also in shambles. As a result, stray dogs and mosquitoes have become a menace for residents staying there. The PMC has not been undertaking fogging to curb mosquitoes, which it used to do a few years ago.

The main problem faced by residents of the area is encroachment on the city road and illegal huts coming up alongside the river. The administration has failed to take action against the encroachment despite filing complaint. The parking of vehicles on roadside has also led to traffic chaos in the commercial area in the panel. There are few electrical poles that need to be removed as they are creating threat to lives of commuters.
