CAP candidates get extra day to report for Round I

Earlier,candidates were asked to report to the allotted institute for CAP Round I from June 26-28.

Candidates taking part in the Centralised Admission Process for admission to engineering and technology degree courses for 2013-14 in Maharashtra will get an extra day to report to the allotted institute for Round I,as per the revised schedule announced by the State Directorate of Technical Education (DTE).

Earlier,candidates were asked to report to the allotted institute for CAP Round I from June 26-28. But now,the timeframe has been extended to June 29. As per revised schedule,the round of admission by counselling for candidates from J&K will take place at Sardar Patel College of Engineering,Andheri (W),Mumbai from June 22-24 instead of June 18-20,DTE said. These candidates will have to report to the allotted institute between June 23 and June 28 and not between June 18 and June 21 as stated earlier. The remaining schedule remains unchanged.

DTE has facilitated online submission of application forms for candidates from June 7 and set June 13 as the last date for the same.
