Ravi Pandit,Chairman of KPIT Cummins Info Systems Ltd gave a lecture on the occasion of the 22 nd V K Alias Appasaheb Savley memorial oratory programme. The lecture was on ” Towards a new global equilibrium.”The lecture was conducted by Rotary Club of Pune,Tilak Road and Mid Town jointly. Addressing the gathering Pandit said,”Education,innovation in every field,production by own funds,government policy for the benefit of people,economic freedom and savings play an important role in the economic growth and stability of the country.”

Graduation Ceremony
Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies (KIAMS) conducted its convocation for its post graduate diploma in management class of 2012. Naushad Forbes,Director,Forbes Marshall was the chief guest of the function and Rahul Kirloskar,Executive Chairman,Kirloskar Pneumatic Company Limited presided over the function. Forbes delivered the convocation address and advised students to look beyond the name of a company to the content of the job.
Alumni Initiatives
Nutan Marathi Prashala’s alumni established Numaviya 62 celebrated their Golden Jubilee programme recently. Nearly 250 students from the Ssc batch of 1962 had formed this community. As part of their golden jubilee plan they reinstalled Vishnushashtri Chipalunkar’s bust in the school premises. They also set up fully computerised school library by spending 2 lakh rupees and conducted health awareness lectures by well-known doctors. Future events include a cultural programme,exhibition showing the school’s history,hobbies,activities and an annual get together.
