Burnt body of another woman found

Two days after the burnt body of a 25-year-old woman was found at Sinhagar Fort,body of another burnt woman was found,this time from a nullah near Kotwal bungalow on the Pune-Solapur Road on Monday.

On receiving information about the body on Monday afternoon,a team of Wanavdi police reached the spot and took the body to the Cantonment hospital.

Wanavdi police investigating the matter further said the body was that of an unidentified woman around 55 years of age. She was around 5 feet tall and was wearing a red gown. The body was found to have been badly burnt. Anybody having any clues about the woman can contact Wanavdi police at 020- 26824981,26208221.

On Sunday,the burnt body of an unidentified woman,around 25 years age,was found at Sinhagad Fort,which is under the jurisdiction of Pune rural police. A complaint of murder has been lodged at Haveli police station.

Police said that so far they had no clues on the identity of the woman. She was found at the ghat section of Sinhagad Fort near a hotel run by Shankar Sangle. Police said that height of the woman was 160 centimeters ( 5 feet 3 inches). Police have found pieces broken glass bangles,an orange hair band,plastic chappals and a scarf with orange checks near the body. Investigation is on to identify the body and the murderers.
