One would think the recently released Marathi film Bluffmaster is a take on the Hindi film with the same name. But in truth it’s quite far from it. The cast and crew of Bluffmaster was in the city recently to promote the flick. The film, which released on Friday,is described as a comedy of errors and a laugh riot. Directed by debutant director Kishor Save,it stars Ankush Chaudhary and Tejaswini Pandit in the lead roles. Chaudhary said,My character Nikki is that of a casanova. He eventually falls for a girl and in the process of getting her family’s approval has to dress up as his own father and aunt. Playing three different characters on screen was not very easy! The story also details the lives of Chaudhary’s friends who are trying to get a break in the Mumbai film industry. Save says that it is an out and out commercial film, with no serious overtones. People can just come, watch the film for two hours and laugh their heads off, he says. The music for the film has been provided by Prasad-Advait and the lyrics have been given by Nitin Vashikar.
