AROUND TOWN: Film Roll

Kaksparsh,a Marathi film based on a story by writer Usha Datar will have a premier screening at City Pride,Kothrud on May 4 from 6 pm onwards. The screening is being presented by social welfare organisation Navkshitij in association with Amanora. Set in the Konakan area,the film is directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and spans the 1930-50 period. The cast includes Sachin Khedekar,Priya Bapat,Medha Manjrekar,Savita Malpekar,Vaibhav Mangle,Sanjay Khapare,Abhijit Kelkar,Manva Naik,Ketki Mategaonkar,Kishor Raorane,Gauri Ingawale,Saiee Manjrekar and Saksham Kulkarni. The proceeds for the same will go towards welfare activities for the differently-abled at Navkshitij.
