Alumni meet of HAS

The alumni meet of the students of Hindusthan Antibiotics School took place recently at the Hotel Brahma Regency,Akurdi. The gathering of this batch of 1982 took place after almost 28 years. Over 75 students from across the globe participated in this gathering. Also present on the occasion were A S Gune,B K Sahani and More,the teachers of the batch. The traditional lamp was lit by the teachers. Those present on the occasion were presented with mementos of the school. “We have been working on this for the past three months. It was an emotional moment for our teachers as well,” said Sushil Rathod,student.

Musical celebration
The ongoing Swarmay Gurukul musical fest that was organised on April 17 under the banner of Prabha Anne foundation at Swarmay Gurukul Sabha Grih. Kedar Nath Aawti,professor of music and dean Film and Telivison Institute of India (FTII) inaugurated the festival. Addressing the gathering,Aawti spoke on wide uses of classical western music in contemporary scenario of Indian music. The festival features a Indian classical evening to be held today where some of the notable artist like Prabhakar Karekar will be performing along with Madhav Modak and Chaitanya Kunte.
