8-time Mr Olympia Ronnie Coleman to flex muscles in city

Winner of the Mr Olympia title for eight consecutive years Ronnie Coleman will be visiting the city on October 17. Coleman will be arriving in the city to inaugurate the Beyond Fitness Centre located at Kalyani Nagar. In addition,he will also be delivering a talk on bodybuilding at the Ganesh Kala Krida Manch on the same day.

“The main reason of bringing him to India was to not only showcase the importance of good bodybuilding but also bring a different experience to Puneites about his dedication and his health and fitness regime,” said Sarika Panhalkar,Director,Beyond Fitness.

Coleman,who is an ex-cop from Texas,won the title from 1998 to 2005 surpassing the seven time record holder Arnold Schwarznegger.He also holds the record for most wins as an IFBB professional with 26 wins.

Tushar Ramanan,one of the members of the organising team,said,“The seminar for the general public ‘Get Personal with Ronnie’ will be organised at Ganesh Kala Krida Rangmandir from 6 pm to 8 pm on October 17. He will also have an interactive session with the audience. He will be felicitated by the Commissioner of Police and other dignitaries.”
