Cantonment police have arrested two more persons in connection with the attacks on Northeast students in the city. They were found to be involved in three cases of assault registered at the police station.
Police have identified the duo as Wasim Bagwan (18),a resident of Kashiwaadi,and Adnan Fahim Khan (18),a resident of Mominpura. Senior inspector Sushma Chavan said,It has come to light that they were provoked by doctored MMS clip and assaulted North-East students near Poona College. Police said both are former students of Poona College. Both Kondhwa and Cantonment police have made several arrests in connection with the attacks on Northeast students.
