15 district court judges transferred

A total of 15 judges from the Pune district court,among the 195 in the state,have been transferred as part of the routine transfer procedure maintained by the Bombay High Court.

Judicial Magistrate first class B B Pantawane has been proposed to be transferred as Bombay Assistant Charity Commissioner,while the Pune assistant charity commissioner S J Biyani has been proposed to be transferred as sessions court judge here,a note from the Bombay High Court states.

The fifteen judges who have been transferred are A V Choudhary to Thane,A K Mandawgade to Wardha,K M Kaygunde to Kankawali,J V Pakhale-Purkar to Amalner,K P R Singh Rathod to Gondiya,A M Samant to Chandwad,S B Hiwale and K R Rajput to Chalisgaon,Prashant Kulkarni to Chopda,Rakesh Wanwadi to Silod,G A Deshpande to Dahanu,S S Parve to Karjat,G G Italkar to Mahur,A M Godane to Dhule and A V Jadhav to Amravati.

The judges taking charge in Pune are K P Jain,S S Bose,B A Gaikwad,R L Wankhede,M V Tokale,Abhijit Kulkarni,V D Deshmukh,R M Gunjikar,S B Devre,M Y Doiphode,Supriya Kulkarni,U L Pathak,H U Joshi,R H Pajankar and D V Gavte. “The judges are expected to take charge at the new station after the summer vacation that begins from first week of May and ends on June 7. It is to be ensured that on reopeningof Courts after vacation,all the Judicial Officers are functional at new station,” the HC notice states.
