Eleven students from Pune’s zilla parishad and municipal schools are set to represent India at Robotex International 2025, a robotics and technology festival, to be held on December 5-6 in Tallinn, Estonia.

For the fourth consecutive year, Pune zilla parishad students have excelled at the Robotex India National Championship 2025, held at MIT ADT University, where over 5,000 students from across India competed in advanced robotics disciplines such as entrepreneurship, water rally, folk race, girls’ fire-fighting, and line follower events. From a pool of more than 1,000 participants from government schools nationwide, these 11 students were selected for their outstanding design, coding, strategic thinking, and teamwork skills.

The selected students hail from diverse zilla parishad schools including ZP Prathamik Shala Hinjewadi and ZP Prathamik Shala Lonikand, and municipal corporation schools, BT Shahani Navi Hind High School (Bhavani Peth), Rajaram Bhiku Pathare School (Kharadi), Dr Cyrus S Poonawalla English Medium High School, and Gurunanak School.

Uday Gawai, Swara Bathewara, Arohi Ramchandra Ujgare, Sourabh Sharad Padadune, Devesh Nitesh Kadam, Sakshi Jamuna Sonar, Shahid Mohammad Ismail Khan, Aarti Chavan, Sharanama Hosakrub, Anushka Waghmare, and Rudra Garase are the selected students.
