Water cut on Tuesday,Wednesday

Large parts of the M West ward (Chembur,Pestom Sagar) and the N ward (Ghatkopar,Vikhroli) will face 100 per cent water cut on Tuesday and Wednesday as the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation will undertake major pipeline connecting work in the area.

The cut will be in effect from 4 pm on Tuesday till 4 pm on Wednesday. The civic body will carry out work of cross connection on of the newly-laid trunk main (1,200 mm in diameter) with the existing water main at Somaiyya College Campus in Ghatkopar (east).

During the execution of this work,water supply will be totally cut to Pestom Sagar,Panchashilla Nagar,Ambedkar Nagar,Shopper Stop and Krushal Tower areas in the M West ward,and Kamraj Nagar,Netaji Nagar,Nalanda Nagar,Ramabai Nagar,Garodia Nagar,Tilak Road,Pant Nagar,MG Road,Kurla Terminus Road,Ghatkopar (East) in the N Ward.
