Vajifdar rallies to shock Selven

In a match that could have gone either way,Selven had his chances before Vajifdar snatched a crucial 4-3 lead by winning the seventh rack and sealed the issue in the next with impressive potting.

On another day of close encounters,Chaitanya Halbe of PYC Club,Pune overcame Jasmer Mago of Otters Club 5-4 in another first round tie. Winning by the same margin were Vishnu Kedia of Juhu Vile Parle Gymkhana,Jagdeep Kohli of Khar Gymkhana,Anand Bahl and Mahesh Gaba,both of Otters Club.
