Third case this week

Last Tuesday,a woman constable was injured when a speeding truck rammed into her scooter on the Sion-Panvel highway near the Sion Circle.

S P Tambe was rushed to Sion Hospital where she later succumbed to injuries. Tambe was posted at the Nehru Nagar police station in Kurla (West). The truck driver had escaped from the spot,but was nabbed the same day.

Sub-inspector Nandini Patil (23) was injured in Borivali (East) on Wednesday when a biker refused to stop at a police nakabandiand rammed into her. She was rushed to Apex Hospital in Borivali (West) with head injuries and is undergoing treatment.
