Art Film

Coinciding with his ongoing exhibition “Extending the Line” at Vadehra Art Gallery,Vivan Sundaram’s film,To Draw a Line,will be screened at the gallery. The film is based on a 40-hour non-stop drawing workshop that he conducted at the University of Baroda in 2007. The screening on July 27 will be followed by a talk by the artist. Contact: 46103550

Indo-Italian Feature

Based on Mahashweta Devi’s short story,Gangor is an Italian film set in a village of Bengal. Narrating the tale of Upin,an Indian photographer who pictures a tribal woman breastfeeding her child,it will be screened at the NCPA on July 27. Contact: 66223737

Tribute to the Tabla
