Shiv Sena (UBT) urges Mumbai Governor to sack six ministers over corruption, misconduct
The party alleged that Minister of State for Home Yogesh Kadam’s family runs a dance bar and presented documents linking Minister Shirsat to suspicious cash transactions and irregular hotel dealings.

The Shiv Sena (UBT) legislators on Monday submitted a memorandum to Governor C P Radhakrishnan, demanding the dismissal of six ministers over serious allegations of corruption, abuse of power, and moral misconduct.
The delegation, led by Opposition Leader Ambadas Danve and senior MLA Anil Parab, named ministers Sanjay Shirsat, Manikrao Kokate, Yogesh Kadam, Nitesh Rane, Sanjay Rathod, and Pratap Sarnaik, accusing them of bringing governance into disrepute.
The party alleged that Minister of State for Home Yogesh Kadam’s family runs a dance bar and presented documents linking Minister Shirsat to suspicious cash transactions and irregular hotel dealings. Agriculture Minister Kokate, already facing flak for playing online rummy during the Assembly, was also criticised for derogatory remarks against farmers.
The memorandum cited a pattern of administrative breakdown, opaque dealings and indiscipline, urging the Governor to act in the interest of public trust. The Governor, while acknowledging the gravity of the issues, assured the delegation that the complaints would be reviewed.
