Songs on Vinyl

An initiative by the sports and lifestyle brand Puma,Puma Loves Vinyl is a one-day event that will see,among other things,some of the country’s most popular musicians performing at Mehboob Studio,Bandra,on the evening of June 23. Karsh Kale,Dualist Inquiry,Reggae Rajahs,Ankur and the Ghalat Family,Tough on Tobacco,The Supersonics and Gaurav Raina from the Midival Punditz will perform at the festival and also create one track each for a limited edition vinyl record. “To experience the true physicality of music,one has to go back to the LP and a true music lover knows a record’s worth. The artistes are the best in the business and we aim to own the vinyl space with this campaign,” says Rajiv Mehta,Managing Director,Puma South Asia. Besides the gigs,the event will also feature vinyl listening sessions,LP cover designing contests,installation art and smaller gigs by individual bands on the record at Puma stores across the country every month.
