(File) Along with Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, three other cabinet ministers are part of 16 MLAs whose fate will be decided by a constitution bench of the Supreme Court on Thursday.
The cabinet members are Agriculture Minister Abdul Sattar, who represents the Sillod segment in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar; Public Health Minister Tanaji Sawant from Bhoom-Paranda in Dharashiv; Horticulture Minister Sandipan Bhumare from Paithan in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
The other MLAs are Mahesh Shinde from Koregaon in Satara, Prakash Surve from Magathane in Mumbai suburbs, Balaji Kinikar from Ambernath in Thane, Anil Babar from Khanapur in Sangli, Sanjay Raimulkar from Mehekar (SC) in Buldhana, Ramesh Bornare from Vaijapur in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Balaji Kalyankar from Nanded North in Nanded, Sanjay Shirsat from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar West in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Yamini Jadhav from Byculla in Mumbai city, Chimanrao Patil Erandol in Jalgaon, Bharat Gogawale from Mahad in Raigad and Latabai Sonawane from Chopda (ST) in Jalgaon.

Sattar, when asked about Thursday’s verdict, said, “As we got the Shiv Sena name and symbol, the verdict will also be in our favour. Irrespective of the verdict, we will welcome it.”
Another Shinde-camp MLA, Sanjay Shirsat, said the 16 legislators had done no wrong and were not scared of the verdict. “The real threat is to the members who are supporting Uddhav Thackeray. Because if we are not disqualified, it means they will be disqualified,” he said.
