Rain causes snags in Mumbai, train services hit

Train services were affected on all four lines of the suburban railway system after a short spell of rains led to a technical failure at major stations Wednesday evening.

A signal problem at Vikhroli station disrupted train services on the up and down lines of the Central Railway for over an hour. On the other hand, a train was detained at Airoli station due to a unit problem. Many services were detained and delayed, which left passengers stranded at several stations for hours.
