Prove your charges: Anna to Thackeray

A war of words has ensued between social activist Anna Hazare and Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray.

Thackeray had said that Swami Nigamanands hunger strike did not get as much publicity as Annas stir in Delhi because the swami had no corporate backing. He had also said Annas agitation was charted by corporate brains and hence the agitation got too much publicity.

Anna said on Friday that Thackeray should prove which corporate brain had supported or charted his agitation. He challenged Thackeray to prove the allegation and volunteered to become Thackerays slave for the rest of his life if it were true. He said he led a simple Gandhian life,ate only once and did not consume even tea,coffee or cold drinks. He asked Thackeray to desist from making wild allegations against him.
