Now,boys start to vanish; one returns,one ‘traced’

In Nehru Nagar,shaky after three rapes and murders in recent months,the disappearance of two teenage boys caused a minor flutter recently. The tension has now eased,with one of the boys found and the other believed to have fled to Ajmer,where a search team has been sent.

“Two boys were reported missing in the past two days,but one came back today and the other is reportedly in Ajmer. The parents were worried because of the recent kidnapping and murder of children,” said a police official.

Saddam Ansari,13,went missing from his home in Takshila Nagar in Kurla East on Monday. It is now believed he has gone to Ajmer to attend Urs.

On Tuesday,Tehjib Alam Sheikh,also 13,went missing from his home in Shiv Shakti Nagar in Kurla after his father had scolded him. “He returned home on Thursday afternoon after his anger had cooled,” said Sheikh’s brother Tauqir.
