NCP leader attacks Mahayuti, party says will act against him
Chavan is seeking to contest Assembly election from Gangapur seat in Aurangabad district.

THE Ajit Pawar-led NCP on Wednesday said it will take action against party MLC Satish Chavan who criticised the Mahayuti government for failing to ensure reservation for the Maratha community.
Chavan is seeking to contest Assembly election from Gangapur seat in Aurangabad district. The seat is currently represented by Prashant Bamb from the BJP.
“The Mahayuti government has failed to resolve the reservation issue of the Maratha community,” said Chavan.
Reacting to Chavan’s criticism, Maharashtra NCP president Sunil Tatkare said, ”I have heard the statement made by Chavan. This kind of statement is uncalled for especially when the Mahayuti alliance is working for the interest of citizens. I will talk to our national president and then take action against him.”
