One of the city’s most popular venues for live music,Lower Parel’s Blue Frog will be converted into an Art Bar for one evening on Wednesday.

One of the city’s most popular venues for live music,Lower Parel’s Blue Frog will be converted into an Art Bar for one evening on Wednesday. Mumbai-based musicians Shefali Alvares,Shilpa Rao and Meiyang Chang will perform but alongside this,they will also showcase their “alternate talents”,which include photography and comedy.

While Rao and Alvares have both done a fair amount of work as Bollywood playback singers — the latter is also a singer-songwriter and has released a number of singles including one with Tough on Tobacco frontman Sidd Coutto. Chang has been,at various times,a television presenter,a reality television show contestant,an actor and musician. Besides the three,flautist Shirish Malhotra will also perform as a guest musician,on the saxophone,flute and violin. Entry for the night is Rs 350/Rs 1,000 full cover.
