Father-son duo held for killing a 53-year-old man over bicycle parking issue

The police said a quarrel erupted between the two parties over parking their bicycle inside the building premises following which the two accused ended up killing the elderly person. The police said that there was a quarrel between the two parties over parking their bicycle inside the building premises following which the two accused ended up killing the elderly person.
According to the police officials, the two accused have been identified as Vikas Raut (53) and Vipul Raut (32) and they are residents of Girgaon.
The police said that the deceased Mukesh Morajkar is also a resident of the same residential building. “On Thursday evening, the two accused allegedly had a fight with Morajkar over his son parking his bicycle inside the pump room and removing it from there,” said an officer.
The police said that the altercation soon aggravated into a physical fight following which Vikas and Vipul brutally assaulted him.”
They even smashed his head against the wall after which Morajkar fell unconscious,” an officer said. He was rushed to the hospital and passed away during treatment.
VP Road police then registered a case under relevant sections of murder, criminal intimidation and common intention.
A senior police officer said, “We have arrested the two accused in the case and we are probing the matter thoroughly.”
