The body of an unidentified man was found near Air India Colony at Kalina on Saturday afternoon. As per the Vakola police,the complainant one Ashok Kamble (40),an auto-rickshaw driver,saw a crowd gathered at the spot where the body was found while he was ferrying a passenger. When he went to see what had happened Kamble saw the body of the deceased who was aged around 35 years. Kamble immediately contacted the police, said an official from the Vakola police. The body had a deep gash on the throat suggesting that someone had killed the man by slashing his throat with a sharp knife. We have registered a case of murder and are conducting enquiries to trace the identity of the victim and the accused, the official added.
