Man arrested for ‘raping’ model

The woman told police that a few days ago, the accused identified as Rahul Jaiswal had called her to his Oshiwara based office for signing a photo shoot assignment of a hair oil product. She had agreed to the shoot and signed the agreement.

The police said that Jaiswal had given her a cheque for the signing amount. On Sunday, she received a call from Jaiswal’s office that she was required to return the cheque as the producer of the advertising company wanted to pay her in cash.

Jaiswal then asked her to come with him to Madh island . “The woman has said that once they were inside a room, Jaiswal raped her,” said a police officer. Jaiswal was arrested from a restaurant in Oshiwara. He was presented in court on Monday and remanded in judicial custody.
