Lok Sabha polls: Prestigious MMR seats among 13 that are battle-ready
The main contest is between the ruling Mahayuti — Shiv Sena, BJP and NCP, and the Opposition alliance of the Shiv Sena (UBT), Congress and NCP (SP)

Voting is coming to a close in Maharashtra with 13 Lok Sabha constituencies, including those in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), going to polls in the fifth phase of elections on Monday, along with three seats in north Maharashtra.

In 2024, the BJP will contest on seven seats, while the Shinde-led Sena will contest on six seats.
From the Opposition, Thackeray-led Sena will contest on eight seats while the Congress and the NCP-SP will contest on three and two seats respectively.
