Kirtikar promises Oshiwara station

Shiv Sena and Bhartiya Janata Party combine candidate from Mumbai North West Gajanan Kirtikar released a manifesto for his constituency on Monday.

The manifesto which will be distributed within his constituency from Tuesday also promises the building of Oshiwara railway station,checking the vulnerability of koliwadas and gaothans under CRZ,solving problems of people living near Jogeshwari caves,MHADA colony residences and homes on private forest land.

Sitting MLA from Malad,Kirtikar who has been in the state assembly for 19 years,is contesting against former city Congress chief Gurudas Kamat and Samajwadi Party candidate Abu Azmi.

Releasing a 12-point agenda in three languages,Kirtikar said he was from the area and knew the problems very well. He has prepared the manifesto after his first round of campaigning.

“I promise to implement 30 per cent rise in the strength of suburban trains and strict implementation of their schedules,along with modernization of railway stations and more bridges,” said Kirtikar. He added that Congress candidate was weak against him in the constituency and his fight was against Azmi.
