IIT-B alumni launch forum to help set up ventures

The IIT Bombay Alumni Association (IITBAA) and Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SINE) Saturday launched Entrepreneur Forum to help students,faculty and alumni set up businesses across the globe.

The announcement was made on the second day of the IITBAA Global Alumni Business Summit in Goa. The forum plans to provide faculty and students attempting to or setting up their own ventures with mentors in the form of alumni who have already established their businesses.

Bakul Desai,chairman,IITBAA said,“Through the association,we bring the wealth of a vast alumni network. While the younger alumni seek mentoring and funding,the successful and established ones can offer the same by sharing their experiences.”
