From I-Day,SMS updates on court cases

On August 15,the Bombay High Court will launch an SMS service,developed with the help of National Informatics Centre,to enable litigants enquire about case status. The SMS should be sent to 09212357123 in a prescribed format,and a reply would be received instantly. Deputy Registrar (IT) Kiran Bobade said,in a release,that detailed case type lists has been put up on http://bombayhighcourt.nic.in. CM Ashok Chavan will inaugurate the service on Sunday in the presence of Chief Justice Mohit Shah. It will be an add-on to the web-based and phone (22673090) services.
