India’s retail landscape has turned more dynamic than ever, especially in the light of increased foreign investment and growing brand consciousness in the urban centres. However, smaller cities and towns in the country are also becoming fashion forward with increasing awareness about high-street fashion. In order to benefit from this trend, the 14th edition of the India Fashion Forum (IFF) will bring together industry stalwarts, fashion retailers and designers under one roof on January 17 and 18 in Mumbai to discuss the potential for fashion retail in smaller centres. The two-day conference will feature workshops, talks, masterclasses, exhibitions and fashion shows on the potential of the retail industry in the country. There will be discussions on visual merchandising, aesthetics of fashion photography and the science of predicting future fashion trends. The conference will be held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon. Some of the biggest names in the fashion and retail industry such as fashion designers Ritu Kumar, Neeta Lulla, fashion blogger Malini Agarwal, Naresh Tyagi, head of product development at Mudra Fashion and Lifestyle, Pradeep Hirani of Kimaya among others will speak at the conference.
