Cops detain Pune student for posting ‘threatening message’ on CM Shinde

The Mumbai police detained a 19-year-old student from Pune for allegedly putting up a threatening message on a social media platform regarding Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde and his son. The police team is bringing him from Pune and an FIR will be registered against him.

An officer said that the accused is a first year Bachelor in Computer Applications (BCA) first who hails from Nanded and resides in Pune.

As per police, responding to someone who had put up a post on how to become a gangster, the 19-year-old allegedly said that he could provide the person a firearm but the target must be the CM.

Based on this, a complaint was received by the police team which traced the 19-year-old as the person behind the threat comment and detained him from Pune.
