Constable kills self

A 42-year-old police constable committed suicide at his Bhoiwada residence on Saturday reportedly owing to his alcoholism and health problems,the police said.

A 42-year-old police constable committed suicide at his Bhoiwada residence on Saturday reportedly owing to his alcoholism and health problems,the police said. The deceased ,Deepak Kachale,was posted at Matunga station and stayed with his wife and son at Bhoiwada police lines. Kachales suicide note said he was taking the extreme step as he was fed up of his life. He was an alcoholic and also a diabetic. The body was found around 6:30 pm when Kachales son returned home from tuitions. After repeatedly knocking on the door,he called the neighbours,who broke open the door. Kachale was found hanging from the ceiling fan,police said.
