Brace for Jinin as Tekfond register easy win

A timely brace by Jinin Kumar clinched a smashing 4-0 victory for Tekfond India United against Mazgaon FC in a Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) Division VI encounter at the St Xavier’s ground in Parel on Tuesday. Narendra Singh and Deepu Baburaj netted a goal each to seal the deal for Tekfond and add to Mazgaon’s woes.

Meanwhile action continued in the MDFA’s Division V league,with Gurunanak FC beating Gatofield FC by a 2-0 margin. Gurunanak who started their campaign off with a close 1-0 victory over Sunday Boys under 19 though were clinical this time around against the Sion-based outfit,with the goals coming from Rakesh Singh and Shivkumar Saudae.

Sunday Boys under 19’s start to the season continued to worsen as Colaba No Fear beat them with a 2-0 margin. Tanmay Bharadwaj and Madhur Manchanda were the goal-scorers for the Colaba outfit.
