Mumbai: BKC-Chunabhatti flyover likely to open on November 9
Considering the number of vehicles entering Bandra-Kurla Complex using this flyover, MMRDA in collaboration with Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, is installing five signals, developing two junctions and installing indicators in the complex.

The BKC-Chunabhatti connector is expected to be ready for use from November 9, 2019. Vehicles using this four-lane flyover to reach the Bandra-Kurla Complex or the Eastern Express Highway would hence save about 30 minutes. The opening of the 1.6-km-long and 17-metre-wide flyover will also reduce traffic snarls at Dharavi and Kalanagar junctions.
As of now, construction of dividers, installation of sound barriers and safety iron net on rail overbridge and lane marking are in progress. Erection of heavy-vehicle stoppers, direction indicators, changing spots for bus stops among others, are in their final stage.
