Her debut in 2001,the Tamil film Kutty,won filmmaker Janaki Vishwanathan two National Awards—in the Special Jury and Best Child Artist categories. Now,the director is set to make her Bollywood debut with Bakra. A social satire set against the backdrop of rural India,the film dwells upon the relationship between eight-year-old Zulfi Qureshi and his pet goat,Abu. The film has actor Anshuman Jha of Love Sex Aur Dhokha fame in a key role.
