Actor Sonu Sood’s luxury car,an Audi Q7,caught fire on Monday evening near the Kalanagar junction. No injuries have been reported.

Actor Sonu Sood’s luxury car,an Audi Q7,caught fire on Monday evening near the Kalanagar junction. No injuries have been reported.

According to fire officials,the car was under the Bandra flyover when the driver spotted fumes from its bonnet.

“He stopped the car immediately. The driver and the actor got out and tried to put out the flames till the fire brigade came in. The fire was extinguished in 15 minutes,” said fire station officer R M Shinde. He added that prima facie,the cause of the fire may be a short-circuit.

“I am going to meet the Audi officials tomorrow and figure what exactly happened. It was brand new,in a perfectly good condition,” said Sood.
