4 chain snatchers arrested

The Khar police on Monday arrested four persons alleged to have been involved in 21 chain snatching cases and also recovered gold jewellery worth Rs 15 lakh. Police said they managed to nab the accused with the help of a CCTV footage that revealed their faces. The arrested accused have been identified as Ijaz Khan (22),Shera Khan (25) alias Sheru,Krishna Shinde (26) and Aryan Shaikh (24). Acting on a tip-off,the police arrested Ijaz from near the Bandra Court area. When questioned,he allegedly confessed to the crime and also revealed the names of his accomplices‘.
