Victims kin undecided,police insist cant say its murder
The top brass of the city police on Sunday was huddled in closed-door meeting with the family of Abhinav Sachdeva whose body and car were found dumped in a vacant plot at Feroze Gandhi market on Saturday evening.

DCP Gurpreet Singh Toor said,We cannot say whether this death is natural or a murder. The viscera of the deceased has been sent for investigations and once the report comes in,only then will we be able to say anything.
At the time of filing this report,the meeting was on. Any kind of action will be taken only after the family reaches some conclusion. The family is sitting in the police station and our top officers are in talks with them, added Toor. Abihinav had gone missing from his home since Thursday morning and a police report was registered in this regard.
SHO Nirmal Singh could not be contacted as he was in the meeting.
The family of Abhinav,who was the lone son of yarn trader Sunil Sachdeva,is under shock. The last rites of Abhinav were performed on Sunday,with close family members alleging that his body had been kept without ice at the mortuary in the Civil Hospital. As a result,the body had swollen up.
Sources said the police were looking at the phone calls made by Abhinav before he died. It was learnt that some of these calls were made to a head constable posted with the traffic police.
Abhinav had suffered a head injury and there were marks left by electric shocks.
