Utensils filled with explosives unearthed

Gurinder Singh,a resident of village Gujjarwal,was today shocked to find a utensil full of catridges and grenades while digging was being done in the newly purchased plots for construction purposes. It is being presumed that the ammunition was placed there during the days of terrorism.

Giving details,the Jodhan police station SHO said,The ammunition includes 132 live catridges of 9 mm and 50 of 7.65 mm,two live grenades,and a 315-bore rifle catridge.

Gurmail had purchased this plot from one Bhag Singh,who in turn had purchased it from Hardeep Singh Nambardar who has been living in Canada for the past 25 years.

The SHO said that no construction had been carried out in this plot for the past 25 years and,hence,it seems that someone must have hidden the ammunition during the days of terrorism. The utensil was found near a tree which probably served as a landmark the persons who had hidden it.

Meanwhile,the Police have registered an FIR against unidentified persons and taken the entire ammunition in their custody.
