Undertrial suffers heart attack in court,dies
A major tragedy was averted on Monday evening when a compartment of a train derailed near Mullanpur.

1 min readA 60-year-old undertrial died in district court complex on Monday. Mohinder Singh was ex-sarpanch of a village from Jagraon and died after suffering cardiac arrest. He had been in jail for the past nine months along with his son Harjit Singh in a murder case. In the court for a hearing,he complained of chest pain and died on the way to hospital.
Goods train derails near Mullanpur
A major tragedy was averted on Monday evening when a compartment of a train derailed near Mullanpur. A railway official from Ludhiana station confirmed the incident and said that there had been no loss of life or property. However,the exact reason for it is yet to be investigated. It was a goods train which was going from Ludhiana to Daroli Bhai in Moga.
