Tewari meets migrants

Ludhiana MP and the national spokesperson of the All India Congress Committee,Manish Tewari today addressed the migrants in Dhandari Kalan to woo the residents.

He assured the migrant population from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh living and working here,of full security and safety. He said the Punjabis by instinct were hospitable and accommodative and there was no ill-will against anyone.

Tewari alleged it was the deliberate ploy of the ruling Akali Dal-BJP to create scare among the migrants as they had failed on all fronts. However yesterday,cabinet minister Hira Singh Gabria had held a meeting in the area in which he had announced a grant for the migrants.
