Revenue patwar union’s local unit stages dharna outside Mini Secretariat

Rupinder Singh Grewal,president of the union,said,“The enquiry report by K S Pannu,an IAS officer,has given a clean chit to Mohan Singh,who was framed in a wrong case by the Vigilance Bureau officers.

Grewal stated that even after the enquiry report has been submitted, the officers are not being punished,although it has been stated to book an FIR against them.

More than 300 patwaris and kanungos sat on 3-hour dharna and stated that their next meeting would be on August 4. Later they will decide on their next course of action.

Union General Secretary Darshan Singh also spoke on the occasion.
