Man alleges threat from mall owner

However,Abhay Garg refuted the allegations saying that they had never entered into a contract with the persons claiming to be the owners of the counter.

“If they have a contract,they can show it to us. The truth of the matter is that the counter which they claim to have owned was being run by us and he (Hardan) was a small time employee there,” said Abhay Garg,speaking from Delhi over the phone.

About making threatening calls to the complainant,Garg said he had never threatened anybody.

On the other hand,Hardan Singh said that he was running the counter on his sister’s behalf and was paying a rent of Rs 25,000 per month after having paid a security fee of Rs 75,000.

However,Garg said the counter was set up with their money. “I have spent about Rs 5.5 lakh on setting up the counter. They asked us that there was renovation work to be done and sealed the counter for two days but on May 19,we found that it had been removed,” alleged Hardan.

On the other hand,Abhay said,” They were only running the counter set up by us on the fifth floor. Now since we have given the food court to a company to run,the counter has been removed. This employee is only trying to harass us. .”
