Jewellery seized during IT raids

During the raids conducted on Vallabh Steels,Vallabh Textile and Vardhman Industries located at GT road,the Income Tax department seized jewellery worth Rs 60 lakh on Wednesday.

In addition to this,bank lockers were also seized. More records are being searched by the income tax officials. The raids were conducted in the industrial premises and at the residences of these units’ owners,which continued till late on Wednesday night,said I-T sources.
