Students of District Institute of Education and Training (DIET),Jagraon,have excelled in the IVth semester examination of Elementary Teachers Training (ETT). The result was declared recently by the State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT),Punjab,Chandigarh. According to a press release issued by Baldev Singh,vice-principal of DIET,The institute has achieved 100% result. Veerpal Kaur,Navjeet Kaur and Kusum Singla,bagged first,second and third positions,respectively,by obtaining 2352,2317 and 2297 marks out of 3100. Rubina and Ramanpreet Kaur also demonstrated excellent results. The students excelled in the subjects of the teaching of English,Psychology,Science,Educational Technology,Maths etc. Piara Singh,one of the class teachers,expressed satisfaction over the performance of the students. Joginder Singh Aulakh,Principal,DIET,Jagraon,appreciated the staff for the excellent result and urged the students to continue working hard.
