Demolition drive in Model Town Extn

The Building branch of the Municipal Corporation on Monday razed a pucca encroachment built in a park near the house of Charanjit Singh Atwal,former deputy speaker,Lok Sabha,in Model Town Extension. The team was led by assistant town planner S S Bindra and interestingly they cleaned the park on the spot and took the debris in the MC vehicle after the demolition. However,in many demolition drives done in various parts of the city about a month ago,the debris has not been removed even now.
