Different competitions including poster-making,quiz,declamation,and essay-writing etc were organised at Shaheed-e-Azam Sukhdev Thapar Government Senior Secondary School,Bharat Nagar,on Wednesday. These competitions were organised under the guidance of Shashi Kiran,a biology lecturer,and Kamaljeet Kaur,the school principal. All these competitions were held under the name of a project Svaccha jeevana. Students from classes VI to X participated in it with enthusiasm.

The results are as follows:

Poster making: junior wing: Deepika,Rani Kumari,Neetu and Rajni; senior wing: Poonamdeep Kaur,Rinku and Iti Pathak.

Quiz: junior wing: group A: Jyoti,Heena and Seeta stood first; group B: Manjot,Snageeta and Anu second; group D: Tamana,Avntee and Kiran stood third.

Senior wing: group A first,group F second and Group H and Group E joint third.

Declamation contest: senior wing: Bharti,Ramandeep and Pooja. junior wing: Sumitra,Pallavi Kapoor,Damini and Kamalpreet.

Essay-writing: senior wing: Kirandeep Kaur,Nutan,Rakhi Rani; junior wing: Deepika,Manjot Kaur and Tamanna.
