Disgruntled client holds entire office hostage

In a shocking incident,a disgruntled client barged into a placement office and held the entire office hostage for nearly half an hour on Tuesday. He later took away the motorcycle owned by the office in charge. The situation was tense after the client held the hostages at gun point. The incident took place at College Road. According to the police,the client has been identified as Nivesh Anand,a resident of Dehradun. The police has registered an FIR and further investigations in the case are on.

Agriculture course for rural youth from August

The Directorate of Extension Education,PAU will organise a three month training programme for rural youth between August 1and October 31. Matriculate youth in the age group of 20 to 40 from Punjab (except districts of Gurdaspur and Amritsar) are eligible for the training to be held at PAU Ludhiana. Trainees will be imparted knowledge on the different aspects of agriculture and auxiliary income promoting ventures.
